Explore your creative side with our new Joy of Digital Photography three session DSLR camera course. Hosted by award-winning Marine Combat Correspondent, celebrated author and fine-art photographer Rod Deutschmann, this unique course takes you places others can’t. In it you’ll learn to see past the ordinary, visualize the amazing, choose the perfect in-camera settings and create the most fantastic images of your life — all without the need for post-processing! No previous experience or expensive gear is necessary. We’ll walk you through the 12 creative techniques that make in-camera magic possible and teach you to go manual with your camera. You’ll get hands-on training using your camera’s aperture, shutter speed, ISO, a flash, a fader, a polarizer and your camera’s while balance, tint, contrast, saturation and sharpening settings and more. You have the DSLR camera, you paid for all those options … isn’t it time you learned to use them well? Cost of this course for students under 60 is $45.00. Students over 60 may register at no cost. Please bring your DSLR camera, it’s manual, a fresh camera battery and empty memory card to each session.

For more information or to register, please call the Nashville Education Center at 618-545-3485 or Kaskaskia College at 545-3255. Space is limited, and all students must pre-register for this class.
