Members of the congregation will lend help at the Food Pantry on Saturday, March 5.

The congregation will focus on the theme, ‘embracing love’ with the following scriptures on March 6. From the Old Testament Joshua 5: 9-12; the 32nd Psalm; ad from the Gospel of Luke 15: 1-3 and 11b-32. The Gospel lesson reminds us of the parable about two brothers one of which squandered money given to him from his dad, while the other brother stayed at home and worked long hours to help his dad. When the son who had nothing left returned to his father’s home there was dancing and rejoicing to see him again while the other son became angry. But the father loved both sons the same.
