Reinburg Named Coach Of The Year
The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association has named Will Reinburg, Nashville Middle School boys’ basketball head coach, as Coach of the Year for District #20 for the second year in a row. Coach Reinburg has a winning record at Nashville Middle School, coaching the boys to 77 wins and 24 losses. His overall Jr. High record is 287-91. The Jr. Hornets finished the 2015-2016 season with 20 wins and 8 losses. They placed third in the Junior Southwestern Egyptian Conference and second in the Okawville Tournament. The boys won the Regional Championship at Rome Grade School, and ended the year with a Second Place finish at the SIJHSAA State Tournament. This is the thrid year in a row that Coach Reinburg and his Jr. Hornets have won the Regional title and the second consecutive year playing in the state championship game.
Coach Reinburg will be honored at Illinois State University on April 30th, at which time he will be presented with his Coach of the Year award to recognize his outstanding accomplishments. Coach Reinburg lives in Nashville with his wife, Megan, and their children, Trey, Tyse and Teagan.
