Twelve NCHS FFA Members Headed To District Competition

Twelve Nashville FFA members were selected as winners at the Section 21 Proficiency Awards competition. The proficiency awards competition is based on different agricultural areas in which students can conduct their Supervised Agricultural Experience Programs.

Winning on the section level advanced these twelve members to the District V Proficiency Awards competition at Benton on March 9th. Participants competed in many different areas ranging from Agriculture Communications to Food Service to Diversified Agricultural Production.

Congratulations to these 1st place winners: Kendall Dodson – Ag Communications, Sarah Herrmann – Ag Education, Abby Kempfer – Ag Processing, Mason Niedbalski – Dairy Production Entrepreneurship, Kyle Lamczyk – Dairy Placement, Austin Schorfheide- Diversified Crop Production Entrepreneurship, Emily Wisely – Equine Science Placement, Derek Fullerton – Food Service, Zach Williamson – Grain Production Placement, Brendon Schettler – Landscape Management, Tianna Kozuszek – Safety and Cole Herrmann – Specialty Crop Production.
