Vogt Wins Gymnastics Meet
Mia Vogt, daughter of Jim and Christy Vogt of Nashville, competed in the Meet Me in St. Louis Gymnastic Meet on February 21st. Mia is 8 years old, competing as a Level 4 USAG sanctioned gymnast. At this meet she earned 1st place in Vault with a score of 9.4, a 4th in All-Around and took a medal in all three other skills, Bars, Beam and Floor. She has competed in 4 other meets this year winning several medals in each. Her first meet's All-Around score qualified her for the Illinois State Gymnastic Competition held at the ISU campus, She will be competing there in March. Mia's home gym in World Class in Belleville.
