February 22

The Nashville Police Department responded to an alarm on N. Hoffman St.

Officers responded to the 700 block of E. Holzhauer Dr. for an out of control subject.

Police assisted fire in the 700 block of W. Lebanon St.

Officers arrested Dustin Garner, 26 of Nashville, for DUI. Dustin was also issued citations for speeding and improper lane usage and received verbal warnings for failure to notify SOS of address change and for defective winshield. Dustin was taken to the Washington County Jail as a result of the arrest.

February 23

Police responded to the 100 block of E. David Dr. for a theft.

Officers assisted county with 2 subjects behind the jail.

Police handled a two vehicle in the parking lot of McDonald’s Restaurant, 11727 St. Rt. 127. A vehicle driven by Robert Edwards, of Mascoutah, backed into a vehicle driven by Jeffrey Portwood. A report was taken on the accident.

February 24

Officers responded to the 500 block of W. Chester St. for a domestic dispute.

Police responded to the 500 lock of W. Chester St. for a property dispute.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 900 block of W. St. Louis St.

Police responded to the area of Rt. 15 at S. Bryan St. for a suspicious vehcile.

February 25

Officers responded to the City Reservoir for a suspicious vehicle.

Police assisted with a property exchange in the 500 block of W. Chester St.

Officers responded to Tom’s for a suspicious vehcile.

Police located and stopped a reported reckless driver. As a result of the traffic stop. Police arrested Ali S. El-Ayins, 29 of Pinckneyville, for possession of controlled substance (heroin), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic needle, and possession of controlled substance (diazepam).

February 26

Officers responded to an alarm on Mockingbird Rd.

Police took a report of child custody visitation interference.

Officers responded to the corner of West Lebanon St. and S. Friendship Drive for a report of a two car accident. No injuries were reported. The driver involved was Merle Schuessler of Nashville. Merle was driving, and sideswiped Brittany Burcham’s vehcile that was parked. A crash report was completed on scene.

Police responded to an alarm in the 17800 block of Exchange Ave.
