Kirchhoefer Honored By Post 110 For 70 Years Of Service To Legion

Members of Nashville American Legion Post 110 came to Waterloo, where Merrill Kirchhoefer is now a resident, and awarded him a certificate for 70 years of service to the legion. 

Kirchhoefer is a Nashville native and owned Kirchhoefer motors through his retirement, when it became Meier Chevrolet and Buick.

The event was held today at Legacy Place where Kirchhoefer and his wife, Marilyn now reside.  Friends and family were on hand for the celebration. Pictured with them are Roger Kramm, Dan Heggemeier and Butch Gogolak.
