February 29

The Nashville Police Department responded to the area of S. Mill St. at Gorman St. for dogs running at large.

Officers responded to an alarm on N. Hoffman St.

Police responded to the 11600 block of St. Rt. 127 for an abandoned vehicle.

Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 400 block of S. Friendship Dr.

Police responded to the 100 block of E. David Dr. for a fraud.

March 1

Officers responded to an alarm on Exchange Ave.

Police assisted EMS in the 300 block of W. St. Louis St.

Officers responded to a minor traffic crash in the back parking lot of the high school.

Police responded to the storage units on St. Rt. 127 for a theft.

Officers responded to the 11700 block of St. Rt. 127 for transeant assistance.

Police arrested Michael Shuber, 22 of Radom, for unlawful possession of cannabis and for two counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Shubert was also issued citations for disobeyed stop sign and for operating uninsured vehicle. Shubert was taken to the Washington County Jail for the charges.

March 2

Officers served no contact papers to an individual in the 200 block of E. Alton St.

Police assist DCFS with an investigation in the 200 block of E. Alton St.

Officers responded to St. Rt. 127 on the I-64 overpass for a three-vehicle traffic crash with injuries. A vehicle driven by Bonnie Hoffman, of Nashville, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Cheryll Krueger, Nashville, who was stopped in traffic. Cheryll’s vehicle then rear ended a vehicle driven by Gene Lowe Jr., of Carlyle, who was also stopped in traffic. Also assisting police was the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Nashville Fire Department and Wasington County EMS. Unit 1 driver was treated by EMS for minor injuries. A traffic crash report was completed on scene.

Police responded to E. St. Louis St. at Reservoir Rd. for a car vs. deer traffic crash. A vehicle driven by Alexander Kujawa, 71 of Ashley, was traveling eastbound on E. St. Louis St. when he struck a deer that ran onto the roadway. No injuries were reported and a traffic crash report was completed on scene.

Officers responded to the 100 block of N. Mill St. for child custody interference.

Police responded to the 1100 block of N. Mill St. for an animal complaint.

March 4

Officers responded to the 300 block of W. High St. for a suicidal subject.

Police responded to an alarm in the 400 block of N. Kaskaskia St.

Officers responded to an alarm in the 400 block of N. Kaskaskia St.

Police responded to the 1300 block of S. Mill St. for a 911 hang-up call.

March 5

Officers responded to an alarm in the 100 block of S. Washington St.

March 6

Police responded to the 600 block of W. Walnut St. for a disturbance.

Officers responded to St. Rt. 127 near Holzhauer Auto Mall Dr. for a car vs. deer traffic crash with injuries. A vehicle driven by Susan Thomas, 58 of Sesser, was traveling southbound on St. Rt. 127 when a deer struck the side of her vehicle. Washington County EMS transported Susan to the hospital.
