Holy Week Schedule at Zion UCC:

Maundy Thursday service 7 PM

Good Friday Tenebrae service 7 PM at St John, Johannisburg

Easter Sunday Zion Church will begin with a non-traditional Sunrise Service beginning at 7 AM filled with devotion, discussion, music and scripture. We will focus on the resurrection and the events surrounding that amazing

Easter morning, We invite everyone to come worship with us at 7 AM, join us for breakfast at 8:30 AM, followed by the traditional Easter Worship at 10 AM.

Palm Sunday was observed at Zion with everyone receiving a palm cross. These palm crosses were made by African women who received a fair wage for their livelihood. Also a quartet of young girls, Dakota, Emma, Madison, and Sarai sang Hosanna!

Zion’s Drawdown held Saturday night was another successful, fun evening. There were lots of winners. The winner of the quilt was Corey Zapp.

Vicki Buss, Beverly Wiley, Shirley Steinkamp, and Darlene Ostendorf attended Handel’s Messiah Friday evening at St Mary Catholic Church, Centralia.

Amy Bergman and Darlene Ostendorf attended a luncheon with their high school girl classmates on Saturday at the Original Springs. There were ten classmates present.

Friday night is the last fish fry at the Addieville Community Club. Serving food from 5 to 8 PM.
