Larvin Henry Kleiboker, 66, of Hoyleton, passed away at 4:15 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2016 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. Larvin was born on November 8, 1949 in Centralia, the son of Henry and Thelma Wecke Kleiboeker. Larvin was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoyleton. He married Deborah A. Grasse on January 17, 1976 in Hoyleton and she survives in Hoyleton. Also surviving is a daughter; Heidi (Frank) Villasenor of Afton, Mo. A sister; Arletta (Larry) Bundy of Centralia, a sister in law; Kristie (Darrel) Lowery of Coopertown, Pa., and two cousins; Mary (Leon) Kuhl of Okawville and Eldor Wernecke of Breese. He was preceded in death by his parents and an uncle Bill Wecke.
Larvin was a graduate of Nashville Community High School and served in the United States Army from 1969-1972. He worked in the mixing department at General Tire in Mt. Vernon for 34 years retiring in 2011. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Hoyleton, Hoyleton Lions Club and American Legion. Mr. Kleiboeker enjoyed gun collecting, reading, traveling, fishing, American History, the St. Louis Cardinals, working on the family farm, being outdoors and his beloved Cocker Spaniel Kenzie.
A celebration of life service was held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Zion United Church of Christ in Hoyleton with Rev. Howard Self officiating. Cremation will be performed after the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Zion United Church of Christ.
