March 19

The Washington County Sheriff’s office responded to Ashley for a report of an assault.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in rural Ashley a property exchange.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported a Noise Complaint from a Ashley, IL resident.

March 18

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported a Theft from a rural Okawville, resident.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took a report of reckless driving on State Route 15 in Ashley.

March 17

Derek M. Karban, 30 of Nashville, was driving a 2002 Ford Pickup when he left the roadway and struck a ditch at County Highway 27 and County Highway 1. Minor injuries were reported.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Department of Children and Family Services in Rural Marissa.

Travis P. Bednarz, 24 of Nashville, and Brandi F. Spurlock, 24 of Du Quoin, were arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. Travis P. Bednarz, was also later charged with bringing contraband into a penal institution.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity in Richview.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of cattle in the roadway on Interstate 64.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity at Prairie State Energy Campus.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office returned a phone call to a resident of Richview in reference to a battery.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Illinois State Police on I-64 W/B at the 45 mile marker for a two car accident.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office returned a phone call to a resident of rural Okawville in reference to a civil matter.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to an Ashley, IL residence for a disturbance.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported a noise complaint in Irvington.

March 15

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office took a call of a male subject walking down the roadway on Interstate 64 near the Centralia exit.

A Washington County Deputy responded to a one vehicle traffic crash on Interstate 64. Darlene F. Greenway lost control of her vehicle and struck multiple delineator posts and a traffic merge sign.
