Mrs. Mary Louise Tuttle of Nashville, departed this life at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 2:24 AM. She had attained the age of 80 years, 5 months and 6 days.

Louise was born on October 16, 1935 in Woodlawn, the daughter of Joseph and Clara (Schulik) Langa. She was united in marriage to Robert Tuttle and he preceded her in death on August 13, 1969.

Mrs. Tuttle worked for the Nashville News for many years. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville, IL.

Louise is survived by five children, Kathleen Shields of Mequon, Wisc., Joseph Tuttle and wife Deborah of Hoyleton, Patrick Tuttle, Barbara Barker and Benjamin Tuttle and wife Michelle all of Nashville; seven grandchildren, Emily Tuttle, Clair McDonald and husband Scott, Anne Stretz and husband Jim, Jennifer Tuttle, Blaine Barker, Jonathan Barker and Rebecca Tuttle; many nieces and nephews, two brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Michael Shields; brothers, Harold Langa and Gerald Langa; sisters, Esther Langa, Evelyn Davenport and Carolyn Molitor; her father and mother-in-law, Blaine and Lorine Tuttle.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at the St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville, on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 10 AM with Fr. Andy Knopik officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to go directly to the church. Interment will follow in the Old St. Ann Cemetery.

Should friends desire mass offerings or memorials may be made to the Washington County Senior Services and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
