Gladys Lange

Gladys Lange, born August 5, 1920, in Nashville, died April 4, 2016, at Friendship Manor Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Clara nee Lohmeyer Kruse. She married Clarence Lange on August 31, 1941 and he proceeded her in death January 24, 1984.

Also proceeding her in death were sisters Mildred Suedmeyer Zapp (Elroy Suedmeyer and Ray Zapp also deceased), Esther Lange and her husband Wilbert, a sister Elsie in infancy and brother in law Earl Kolweier.

Surviving are two sisters; Laverne Kolweier, Doris Schleifer and spouse Charles, all of Nashville, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Gladys was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville, where she was active in LAMS, Over 55, and LWML.

A funeral service was held Thursday April 7, 2016, at Olive Branch Lutheran Church with the Reverend Darwin Schrader officiating. Interment was with her husband at Olive Branch cemetery. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Olive Branch Lutheran Church.
