Leslie Earl Winfree
Leslie Earl Winfree, 88, of Louisville, Ken., formerly of Nashville, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Louisville.
Les retired as a Sgt. with the United States Army where he was a cook. He served during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He then went to work for Louisville Gas and Electric Co.
He was preceded in death by his first wife; Gladys Winfree and second wife Margaret. Left to mourn his passing are two brothers; Raymond and Robert Winfree and a sister; Alice Lawhorn.
Friends may call from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Owen Funeral Home in Louisville, Ken.. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Greenwood Cemetery in Nashville, with Rev. Scott Sharp officiating.
