April 17

The Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to the 400 Block of North 2nd. St in Ashley for down power lines.

April 16

The Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to a two vehicle accident on County Highway 24 just North of Hoyleton. A vehicle driven by Peggy A. Renteria, 66 of Arnold, was traveling North on County Highway 24, when the vehicle driven by Peggy failed to yield while turning left, causing her vehicle to strike a vehicle driven by Benjamin E. Kempfer, 40 of Hoyleton, IL. Both subjects were taken to the hospital and treated for injuries. Peggy was also cited for failure to yield while turning left.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office received a report of criminal damage to property occurring in rural Centralia, IL.

April 15

The Washington County Sheriff's Office received a report of Domestic Trouble from an Addieville, IL residence.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to a two vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 51. A vehicle driven by Rex A. Shepard, 22 of Beckemeyer, IL. struck the rear end of a vehicle driven by Brenda K. Himmelrick, 54 of Evansville, IN. No injuries were reported.

April 14

David W. Craig, 21 of Collinsville, was arrested by a Washington County Sheriff's Deputy for Criminal Damage to Property.

A Washington County Sheriff's Deputy checked on an abandoned vehicle on State Route 127 and Ohio Road.

April 13

A Washington County Sheriff's Deputy returned a phone call to a resident of rural Radom in reference to a civil matter.

A Washington County Sheriff's Deputy returned a phone call to a resident of rural Coulterville in reference to a theft.

Washington County Sheriff's Deputies responded to State Route 127 and State Route 177 for a report of a large tractor trailer stuck in the intersection.

A Washington County Deputy arrested Robert G Dodson, 19 of Salem, IL for possession of drug paraphernalia and for possession of cannabis. Dodson was also given a verbal warning for improper lighting/one headlight.

April 12

The Washington County Sheriff's Office reported an Animal Complaint from an Irvington, IL resident.

A Washington County Deputy responded to State Route 177 south of Nashville. Michelle B. Seyler, 21 of Nashville lost control of her vehicle and struck a guard rail.

April 11

A Washington County Deputy responded to a traffic crash on State Route 177 west of Okawville. A vehicle driven by Joshua B. Southerland, 19 of Belleville lost control and over-turned. Property at Obermeier Trucking was damaged in the crash.
