Farewell Open House For Rev. Dr. Hans Trinklein

A farewell open house will be held Saturday May 21, from 1-4 pm at the Original Springs Hotel in Okawville for Dr. Hans Trinklein, former pastor of Olive Branch, Okawville, and his family.

Dr Trinklein has accepted a call to serve as a teaching missionary in Seoul, South Korea. He, his wife, Gretchen, and four children, Jael, Abigail, Michael, and John will be leaving this area in July. He will be a theological professor at the Lutheran Seminary of Lutheran Churches of Korea.

Dr. Trinklein was installed as Pastor at Olive Branch on July 29, 2001. He preached his first sermon there on August 5, 2001. He faithfully served the congregation for 14 years.

The open house is open to the public. All are invited to wish him well and Godspeed in his new endeavor. Refreshments will be served. Cards and free-will donations accepted, to help support their missionary travel.
