If you’re seeking to add some homegrown flavor to your food, or just to eat more fruits and vegetables, there’s no better place to start than the Nashville Farmer’s Market.

The market is sponsored by the Nashville Chamber of Commerce and is one the sidewalk in front of the courthouse every Thursday morning from 7 to 11 a.m.

From July 11 through August 29, the market will also be open on Monday afternoons from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

The vendors at the market have a rotating stock including fruits and vegetables, baked goods and other foods, and even plants and herbs. The selection changes with what is in season, so check back weekly to see what’s there.

For more information on the market, or to sign up as a vendor, contact Doris Povolish at the Chamber of Commerce at (618) 327-3700, or by email at [email protected]
