Harrl Beatty Scholarship Awarded

The inaugural scholarship in memory of Harrl Beatty was awarded to two NCHS students. At the presentation were Walter Beatty, scholarship winners Jacob Showmaker and Abigail Kroener, Janet (Beatty) Freeman, and Harry Easley. Walter Beatty, Freeman, and another of Harrl’s cousins, Sharon Malta of Maryland, provided the funds for the scholarship.
