11th Annual Walk With The Dogs Saturday

The 11th Annual 5K “Walk With the Dogs” is coming up this Saturday, June 4th at Memorial Park at 7:30 am.  

Once again, huge numbers have registered and take to the streets of Nashville to raise awareness and funding for Pancreatic Cancer.  

A record number of teams have been working hard at fundraising and signing up Team Members to bring much needed attention to this form of cancer.  A huge turnout of Purple Warriors is expected Saturday.

The event continues to grow each and every year and this year the Jeanenne Thompson Foundation will surpass a quarter-million-dollars in lifetime giving to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, who they advocate for.  

Haven’t signed up yet?  

You can sign up between now and the morning of the event. Contact Charlie or Carolyn Detering at 327-3976, or sign up that morning beginning at 7 am for those not registered yet. If you have pre-registered already, it is not necessary to be there at 7 am.  

The entry fee is $20 (and $10 for kids under 16 walking with an adult).

The Walk will be followed by a raffle and silent auction.
