Lamplighters Meet May 11
On May 11 Mildred Kroener hosted Lamplighters HCE at the Oakdale Town Hall.
Mary McClay called the meeting to order with the reading of the Collect.
Guests present were Mary Williams and Phyllis Porter.
Myrene Alfeldt presented the lesson, “Hold That Thought! A look at memory and helpful strategies for everyday forgetfulness.”
Members were asked to think about what they wanted to do for the free month activity in August and what lesson topics they would like to have for next year.
The next meeting will be June 8 at 7 pm in the home of Myrene Alfeldt. Jan Endres will present the lesson, “Salt, Sugar, and Special Seasoning in the Diet”
