May 27

Jason M. Bauer, 28, of Benton, IL was taken into custody by the Washington County Sheriff's Office on a Marion County warrant for Failure to Appear.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office received a report of a suspicious person in rural Irvington, IL.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to a two vehicle accident in Hoyleton, IL. A vehicle driven by Hillery P. Booth, 27, of Hoffman, IL failed to yield while turning left and struck the front end of a vehicle driven by Amy E. Zalos, 33, of Hoyleton, IL. No injuries were reported.

A Washington County Sheriff's Deputy responded to a motorist assist on I64.

May 24

The Washington County Sheriff's Office received a report of a vehicle fire on Interstate 64.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to a two vehicle accident just East of Nashville. A vehicle driven by Mark S. Styniger, 53 of Nashville, IL was making a right turn onto Windswept Drive when the vehicle Mark was driving made contact with a vehicle driven by Sheng L. Guo, 44, of Nashville, IL. No injuries were reported.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office reported Betty L. Markowski, 60 of Nashville, IL struck a horse on St. Rt. 15 near Lakeshore Lane.
