4-H Color Run Saturday

This Saturday, June 25, the 4-H Color Run will be held at the Washington County State Conservation Area (look for signs), beginning with the 5K run/walk at 8:30 a.m. and the youth fun run at 9:30 a.m.

The event is sponsored by Nashville Busy Beavers 4-H club and the Nashville Optimist Club. Proceeds raised by the Color Run will go towards the purchase of a new diving board at the Nashville Memorial Park Pool.

Packet pickup is from 5 to 6:30 p.m., on Friday, June 24 (the night before the run) at the Washington County U of I Extension Center, and from 7 a.m. until start time at the conservation area.

Age categories are age 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, and 60 +, and the top three male and female finishers in each category will receive a medallion. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers overall.
