Letter: VPC Mail Is Not Coming From Clerk’s Office
VPC Mail Is Not Coming From Clerk’s Office
VPC is sending out mailings containing a letter and a voter registration form with the name and address of who they think are non-registered voters.
They did not get their information from the County Clerk’s Office and the County Clerk’s Office had nothing to do with these mailings.
It has been brought to my attention they are sending these notices to people who are already registered, some who have moved away, changed their name and those who have passed away. If you receive one of these, you may disregard it. If you are not registered and would like to use this mailing as a way to register as a voter you may complete the application and forward it to the County Clerk’s Office. The County Clerk’s Office will process all such voter registration forms tat are properly completed. The County Clerk has been informed by the State Board of Elections that this is a legitimate company operating as a non-government, non-profit, non-partisan organization. Please contact the County Clerk’s Office if you receive this mailing and have any questions.
If you would like to be removed from the list, their letter has a code near the bottom that you can email to VPC to be automatically removed, that e-mail address is: email@example.com.
You may also contact VPC at 27 N. Wacker Dr. #710, Chicago, IL 60606, or phone 1-877-255-6750. Their e-mail address is: firstname.lastname@example.org.
