Wilson Wins Gateway East Artist Guild Monthly Competition
“Flint Corner” a water color painting by Washington County, resident Philip Wilson won first place at Gateway East Artist monthly artist competition.
Wilson said, “Flint Corner is in Washington County between Nashville and Oakdale.”
The next GEAG general membership meeting will be July 6 at 6 p.m. at PSOP/SWIC Building, 201 N. Church St, Belleville.
The program for the evening will be “Table of Art” – each table will have an open discussion of the hosted media.
The August 2016 3rd meeting will be Artist Trading Cards with Lois Holthaus. Lois explained that a trading card is an original piece of art 2.5 x 3.5”. Each artist should bring at least 20 completed cards to trade with other artists.
A membership art show and critique will be held. Refreshments will be served.
