Hofbraufest is here! Thursday beginning at 5:00p.m., volunteers will converge upon the park to begin assembling the stands, stringing the lights and marking the vendor spaces. Please join us – all are welcome!

Music, music, music will fill the park during the week-end. Our own hometown celebrity Derek Czerwonka will provide music and entertainment Friday evening as well on Saturday morning throughout the afternoon events. Derek reaches all ages and keeps lively jargon throughout his gig. Clusterpluck will perform in the beer garden on Saturday night; polish off your dancing shoes as the Polka Connection featuring Ray Stanowski and Mike Wisniewski take the stage on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. Joe Lukasik will be playing both Friday and Saturday with toe-tapping tunes spanning the decades.

F&M is sponsoring the Pet Parade for the 4th consecutive year, pets will register at 1:00p.m. on Saturday; James Koelling will be queuing the challengers in the washers tournament beginning at 12 noon and Tasha Schoenberg will register entrants for the Kiddie Tractor Pull beginning at 3:00 p.m. under the pavilion. As you can see, Saturday is a fun-filled day – be sure to check out the ad in this week’s Nashville News.

The Quilt Auction on Sunday has a new item being entered: “barn quilts.” These unique framed ‘quilt blocks’ can be displayed outside for country décor.

And, the Community Club will be open all day Saturday and Sunday for volunteers to drop off their baked goods for our dinners. The sweet treats will be served as desserts at our bratwurst and pork steak dinner on Saturday and fried/smoked dinner on Sunday. All donations are appreciated.

Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ in Hoyleton will take worship to the Hofbraufest on Sunday July 10th. At 9 am worship services will be held at the town park. Please bring your own lawn chairs. Praise the Lord in all things.

Volunteers will be needed to help unload the Food Truck on Monday July 11th at 9 am.

Those who would like to attend camp at DuBois Center may receive paid tuition from the church. Call the church office at 493-6317 or speak to a member of the Church Council.
