Concussion Baseline Testing For NCHS Student-Athletes

This year, NCHS will be requiring ImPact Concussion Baseline Testing for any student who is planning to participate in athletics to establish a baseline from which doctors can compare upon the occurrence of a head injury. By participating in the free baseline testing, the student is not obligated to take the ImPact testing upon injury, but would have the option to test again at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese. NCHS will be offering the ImPact baseline testing sessions this summer at the high school on the following dates and times:

From 8am – 10am on July 26 and August 4.

From 2pm – 4pm on July 20

At 3pm on July 28

From 5pm – 7pm on August 1 and 2

Student-Athletes that completed the baseline testing last year, 2015-2016, will not need to re-test this summer as the tests are good for two years.

Due to limited computers please call the school office at 327-8286 to reserve a testing time. Test should take approximately 45 minutes. Students will need bring with them the required documentation signed by parents. Coaches that are meeting with players throughout the summer may be distributing these documents or they can be picked up in the main office Monday-Thursday from 7am to 1pm and on Fridays 7am-noon. For further questions, please contact the main office at 327-8286.
