Luechtefeld, Bryant To Host Senior Fair In Mt. Vernon
State Sen. Dave Luechtefeld (R-Okawville) and State Rep. Terri Bryant (R-Murphysboro) are hosting a Senior Health Fair at the Rolland Lewis Community Building on July 21, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
All interested senior citizens in the Mt. Vernon area are invited to attend for information and demonstrations on staying independent and important quality-of-life issues.
Free health screenings include blood pressure and blood sugar screenings. An 8-hour fast is recommended.
The Illinois Treasurer’s Office will make the I-Cash database available to search for unclaimed checks or property. Experts will be on hand to provide information about scams and fraud that target senior citizens, prescription drug and insurance programs and other programs.
The Senior Fair includes free refreshments and door prizes.
