I hope that everyone is staying cool and hydrated in this weather.. I’m ready for fall weather.

Ashley Community Committee meets the second Sunday of every month at,6pm at the Ashley United Methodist Church. If you live in the Ashley Grade School district your welcome to join A.C.C. Ashley Community Committee has a fireworks fund at the Farmers and Merchants Bank and you may donate at,anytime.

Ashley United Methodist Church and Richview Methodist Church will be collecting school supplies for Ashley Grade School you may drop the items off at the church. Supplies needed but not limited too pens,pencils, chlorox wipes, kleenex, and hand sanitizer. Ashley United Methodist Church Services every Sunday at 8:30 am with Pastor Dennis Gambill.

Ashley Grade School will be back in session soon. Keep collecting the box tops and soda tabs for A.G.S

The city has installed 2 new stop signs on Jefferson St close to 7th st. Hopefully these stop signs will slow people down. The next city council meeting will be August 15 at 7pm at city hall. Contact your council members if you have,questions , concerns or comments or attend a council meeting.

The Lantern Pub specials every Tues is 10% off 60 and older dine in only and Wednesday and Sunday all you can eat fried chicken and Thursday night kids night.. They also have drink specials.
