Busy 2016 For The Nashville Lions Club
The Lions Club is at it again, and 2016 has been a very good year for The Nashville Lions Club, who made more than $30,000 in donations during the past 365 days.
Some of the things the Nashville Lions have donated towards in 2016 include: Trees in the Park, Sight and Sound ticket Sales, Easter Egg Hunt prizes, Tarps for the ball diamonds, NCHS Scholarships, vision screening for school children, the Blue Racers swim team, memorial trees in park for late members, World Trade Center memorial plaque in Courthouse, NCHS Post Prom, Simply the Best, Camp Lions camper sponsorship, hearing aids and hearing exams, district convention booklet, District 1-CN admin booklet, prizes for Christmas Lights contest, 700 movie passes for elementary school students, Halloween party and theater tickets, candy day cost and donation, nursing home bingo, christmas lighting expense, National Federation for the Blind, American Legion Golf tournament hole sponsorship, Nashville Stingers (for helping at Maifest), Diabetic retinopathy and hearing screening units expense, Hornet Golf tourney hole sponsorship, eyeglasses, Nashville Little League, Boy Scouts for Maifest cleanup, and the Chamber Fall Festival.
