Happenings at St. Michael Parish, Radom & Around Radom (August 3-August 9)

August 3- 6PM Adoration and 6:30PM Mass (Radom)

August 7- 8AM Mass-(Dubois), 10AM Mass (Radom) Raffle Prizes for the Picnic Next Saturday are due in Today!

August 9- 8AM Mass-(Dubois)

Saturday night 5PM Mass is now switching back to St. Charles Dubois for the months of Aug-Nov.

Sunday morning Mass times remain the same, 8AM Dubois and 10AM Radom. Saturday, August 13 since this is the day of St. Michael’s Parish Picnic, the Saturday evening Mass will be at Radom instead of Dubois. It will be a Polka Mass at 4PM.

St. Michael Picnic Raffle Tickets/ Picnic Flyers are now available at the entrances to the Church. Please pick some up and sell far and wide! Also put the flyers up at businesses you patronize. Thank you to everyone who has so generously donated to this years Picnic Raffle.

St. Michael Parishioners- If your willing to help at the Picnic and aren’t contacted by a chairperson, contact the Office or any chairperson. The workers list is attached to the bulletin. Thank you! We are in need of basket items for the Picnic. Remember big baskets are easier for us to fill. Thank you! Keep in mind that new and like-new items will be needed for the Pick-A-Number Stand and Flea Market Stand. When you turn in your items please mark them “Pick-A-Number” stand; “Flea Market” stand or “Basket” stand. This will help the workers know where the items belong. For more information regarding Pick A Number contact Ona Wroblewski, Louise Malawy, or Bobbi Kwiatkowski. Flea Market- Bev Schindelar or Debbie Colgrave and the Basket Stand-Connie Kwiatkowski. Donations can be left in the back of Church, at Parish Office, or by contacting one of the Chairpersons for the respective stands above. Thank you!

Donation of vegetables for the Picnic would be most greatly appreciated if you have some you are wanting to donate contact Cheryl Cameron.

Knights of Columbus Council #4476 Education Scholarship forms are in the back of Church. If you have any questions contact Ken Gill.

Benefit for Krystal (Logan) Henry is August 21 at Ashley Park Community Building. Spaghetti Dinner at 11 AM. Silent Auction begins at 11 AM and closes at end of Live Auction. Live Auction begins at 2 PM. Ducky Doodle starts at 1 PM. – $5 per number with a $500 Cash Prize. Contest for Time the duck doodles – $5 for time – Prize is 50/50. Upcoming Events/Activities:

August 11- Set up of basement and some outside stands beginning at 6PM.

August 12- Help is needed at 7:30AM to prepare vegetables, etc.

Chicken Cleaning will begin at 5PM or as soon as you can get there at the KC Hall in Dubois.

Set up of outside stands will begin at 6PM-All help is greatly appreciated.

August 13- St. Michael’s Annual Parish Benefit Picnic. Please spread the word and mark the date on your calendars! Polka Mass at 4PM. Fried Chicken and Roast Pork Dinners served in the Air-Conditioned Church Basement (Physically challenged accessible) from 3PM-7:30PM. Handmade Quilt and Cash Bingo beginning at 6:30PM. Raffle, Kids and Adult Games, and Refreshments. Music provided by Polka Connection from 7:30PM-11:30PM. Also we will have a Car, Truck, Tractor, and Motorcycle Show registration begins at 3PM. Entry Fee is 15.00 dollars per vehicle. Judging at 5PM and Awards at 6PM.
