Police Report

August 1

The Nashville Police Department responded to the 500 block of W. Chester St. for a theft.

Officers responded to Enterprise Ave. to assist EMS.

Police handled a single vehicle accident in Penny Lane Consignments parking lot, 665 National Mine Rd. A vehicle driven by Jennifer Pinski, of Nashville, backed into a power pole. A report was made on the accident.

Officers responded to Circle K for a report of retail theft. A male subject was observed on surveillance footbage stealing two bottles of Crown Royal whiskey on July 31 at 13:27 and 14:00. Police later arrested Cornell Hannah Jr. aka James Boswell, for retail theft.

Police arrested Trey Bax, of Nashville, for a Washington County warrant as well as a MO parole violation warrant. Trey was arrested at his residence of 846 W. Vernor St. Trey was taken to the Washington County Jail for the warrants.

August 2

Officers responded to Memorial Dr. for reckless driving.

Police handled a two-vehicle accident on E. Adams St. just west of N. Hoffman St. A vehicle driven by Joseph Presswood, of Addieville, sideswiped a vehicle owned by Bradely Lietz, of Nashville, that was parked along the road. A report was made on the accident.

Officers handled a two vehicle accident in the parking lot of the Nashville DMV, 480 N. Kaskaskia St. A vehicle driven by Sammi Jo Schnitker, of Hoyleton, backed into a vehicle owned by Devon Tippin, of Nashville, that was parked at the DMV. A report was taken on the accident.

Police responded to the 400 block of E. Alton St. for a traffic crash. A vehicle driven by Roger Kirgan, of Nashville, backed into a parked vehicle owned by Sandra Ellison, of St. Charles, MO. No injuries were reported and a traffic crash report was completed.

August 3

Officers responded to the 600 block of W. Alton St. for a city ordinance violation.

Police responded to the 300 block of W. Alton St. for damage to vehicle.

Officers took a report of a Gilster-Mary Lee Semi hit the railroad arm and broke it off.

August 4

Police repsonded to the 100 block of E. Elm St. for harassment.

Officers responded to the 800 block of S. Broadway St. for a domestic disturbance.

Police reponded to the 11700 block of St. Rt. 127 for a civil matter.

Officers responded to the 300 block of N. Mill St. for suspicious activity.

August 5

Police responded to the 18300 block of Enterprise Ave. for a theft of a semi-trailer.

August 6

Officers responded to the 200 block of W. Walnut St. for a welfare cehck.

Police responded to the 17800 block of Holzhauer Automall for a theft.

Officers responded to Connecticut Rd. to assist Fire witha vehicle on fire.

August 7

Police responded to the 18300 block of Enterprise Ave. for a compalint of sexual misconduct.

Officers responded to the 400 block of W. Goodner St. for phone harassment.

Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. As a result of the stop police arrested the driver, Casey Lansdon-Lewis, of Wood River, for driving while license suspended, possession of a controlled substance, and for possession of drug paraphernalia. Casey was also issued a citation for operating uninsured vehicle. Police also arrested the passenger, Dustin Kraushaar, of Brighton, for possession of a controlled substance and for possession of drug paraphernalia. Both subjects were taken to the Washington County Jail and placed on a felony hold.
