I apologize to the Ashley United Methodist Church for publishing the wrong date for the Ice Cream Social. I was able to attend and enjoy the afternoon.

A.G.S is still collecting box tops and soda tabs.A.G.S has a 2:15 dismissal September 2 and no school on September 5. September 16 is Grandparents Day with a 11:30 dismissal.The book Fair is the week of September 12.

The city council meets September 19 at 7pm.Take your questions and concerns to the meeting and address it during hearing from the citizens.

Ashley United Methodist Church Services every Sunday morning at 8:30 am. Ashley Senior Potluck is the 1st Thursday of every month at 6pm at the Church.

Don’t forget the Lantern Pub specials every Tues is 10% off 60 years and older dine in only. Wednesday and Sunday all you can eat chicken.Thursday Night is kids night.

Have you dined at Lantern Pub lately? If not you should the staff is always friendly and the food is great and the service is really good.

A.C.C meets September 11 at 6 pm at the United Methodist Church. New members and volunteers are always welcome. A.C.C trys to do a lot for the A.G.S district but it’s really hard when you only have 10 members or less. If you enjoy the July Fireworks and the craft and Vendor fair in November with Santa then get involved and help A.C.C continue these events.
