August 15

Nashville police responded to the 200 block of north Kaskaskia Street for Ministerial Alliance aid.

Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation, subsequently arresting the driver, Prentess Flenoid, of St. Louis, for driving while license suspended and for possession of heroin. Prentess was also issued a citation for disobeying a stop sign and was placed on a felony hold at Washington County Jail.

Officers responded to the 9000 block of State Route 127 for an alarm.

Police responded to Enterprise Avenue to assist emergency medical services.

Officers responded to Mockingbird Road for a semi truck fire.

August 16

Officers responded to the 600 block of E. Adams Street for a solicitor complaint. Police eventually made contact with the solicitors on the 800 block of W. Lebanon Street. Nathan Adcock, Kerry Cochran, Danny Britt, Jr., and Alexander Bizefski were soliciting for Direct Energy and had a valid city permit that was still in effect. It was discovered that Bizefski had an active Jackson County Warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and transported to Washington County Jail.

Police responded to the 18000 block of State Route 15 for an alarm.

Officers responded to the 100 block of N. Mill Street for a domestic disturbance.

Police responded to the 11600 block of State Route 127 for ministerial alliance aid.

August 17

Police responded to Little Nashville, 11700 State Route 127, for a two-vehicle accident. A vehicle driven by Gerald Wiese, of Nashville, struck a vehicle being driven by Joseph Beck, of Bridgeton, Mo. There were no injuries reported.

Police responded to S. Mill Street at E. Lebanon Street for a traffic crash. A vehicle driven by Trevor Meier, of Nashville, did not stop in time and rear-ended a vehicle driven by Savanna Staley, of Ashley. No injuries were reported.

Police responded to North Mill Street at E. Walnut Street for a traffic crash. A vehicle driven by Stephanie Laughhunn, of Richview, rear-ended a stopped vehicle driven by Amanda Dobler, of St. Libory. No injuries were reported.

Officers responded to the 11700 block of State Route 127 in reference to suspicious activity.

August 18

Police responded to the 600 block of South Broadway for a report of damage to property.

Officers assisted two males from Georgia with getting fuel and a ride back to their vehicle which had run out of fuel.

Police assisted Darius Turner, of Jennings, Mo., with a flat tire.

August 19

Officers responded to the 200 block of E. Belleville Street for a theft.

Police responded to the 300 block of W. Chester Street for a traffic crash. Steve Harre, of Nashville, rear-ended a parked vehicle owned by Kenneth Kozuszek, which caused the vehicle owned by Kozuszek to rear-end another parked vehicle owned by Andrea Baldwin. As a result of the crash, Harre was arrested and charged with DUI.

August 20

Officers responded to the 11700 block of State Route 127 for a domestic dispute.

Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Raymond Burkett, of Carlyle. Burkett was arrested for driving while license revoked and was issued a warning for failure to signal. He was taken to Washington County Jail.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by John Chamberlin, of Carlyle, who was issued a warning for failure to use turn signal. As a result of the stop, police arrested the passenger, Danny Kelly, of Carlyle, on a Washington County warrant, as well as a felony warrant from Madison County. He was taken to Washington County Jail.

Police served Washington County Jail inmate Brandon Rogers, of Shelbyville, with an arrest warrant.

Police responded to S. Mill Street at E. St. Louis Street for a two-car traffic crash. A vehicle driven by Michael Meyer, of Nebraska, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Cody Kurwicki, of Nashville.

Officers responded to the 18000 of St. Rt. 15 for an alarm.

August 21

Police responded to the 400 block of S. Washington St. for a break-in.

Officers responded to McDonald’s in reference to a two-vehicle accident. Cathrine Ogwyn, of North Carolina, backed out of a stall and into a vehicle driven by Janice Hedgepath, who was backing out of the opposite stall. No injuries were reported.

Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Ronald Brown III, of Pevely, Mo., for a traffic violation. As a result of the stop, police arrested Brown on a felony Washington County warrant, and transported him to Washington County Jail.

Officers responded to 511 W. Chester Street to standby for a property retrieval. Renee Richardson arrived on scene to retrieve her children’s property from the residence. Renee had Michael Reid, of Nashville, go into the residence to get her belongings, and while doing so, an altercation took place between Michael and Renee. Reid was subsequently arrested for threatening to choke Renee. When the homeowner, Jamie Cooley, arrived on scene, Renee’s property was given back to her without incident. Police also arrested Cooley on a Marion County warrant. Reid and Cooley were both taken to Washington County Jail as a result of the incident.

August 22

The Nashville Police Department responded to the 17000 block of Holzhauer Automall Dr. for suspicious activity.

Officers responded to the 11700 block of St. Rt. 127 for transient assistance.

Police responded to Citgo for a grease frie in the kitchen.

Officers responded to the 1500 block of W. St. Louis St. for suspicious activity.

Police responded to the 500 block of E. St. Louis St. for a domestic dispute.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Kelly Roland of Woodlawn. As a result of the stop, police arrested Kelly on a felony warrant out of Jefferson County, Missouri. Kelly was taken to the Washington County Jail for the warrant.

August 23

Police assisted IDOC Parole with searching a residence at 511 W. Chester St. Subsequent ot the search, Michael Reid, Michael Koepke Jr. and Justin Reinkensmeier were arrested for Possession of Methanphetamines, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Heroin), Possession of Hypodermic Syringes, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. All three were taken to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Jail for booking.

Officers responded to 386 W. St. Louis St. to assist EMS with an unknown medical emergency from a 911 call received in disptach. Police arrived on scene and discovered that Leah Baggott, of Nashville, had dislcated and broke her arm as a result of an altercation between her and her husband Jamie Baggot, of Nashville. Jamie was subsequently arrested for aggravated domestic battery and palced on a felony hold at the Washington County Jail. Leah was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon to be treated for her injuries.

August 24

Police responded to the 400 block of W. Walnut St. for suspicious activity.

Officers responded to S. Buchanon St. at E. Lebanon St. for a suspicious person.

Police responded to Mockingbird Rd. for a two-car traffic crash. A vehicle driven by Paul Barczewski rear-ended a semi, driven by Sanel Mukovic, that was stopped at a stop sign. Minor damage to Barczewski’s vehicle only.

Police responded to St. Rt. 15 east of Angela St. to assist the Sheriff’s Department with a one-vehicle crash. Police assisted with traffic control until the vehicle was removed from the roadway.

August 25

Officers responded to the 18000 block of St. Rt. 15 for an alarm.

August 26

Police arrested Terrance Jenkins, of St. Louis, for driving while revoked.

Officers responded to the 100 block of E. Angie Ave. for suspicious activity.

Police handled a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of S. Community Ave. and E. Student Dr. A vehicle driven by Elijah Smith, of Nashville, hit a parked vehicle owned by Dale Guetersloh, of Nashvillle. A report was taken on the accident.

Officers executed an arrest warrant on Christopher Rybacki of Nashville for a probation violation. Christopher was taken into custody, was transported to the WCSO jail without incident, and was issued his paper work at the jail.

August 27

Police responded to the 100 block of E. Angie Ave. for a scam.

Officers responded to the 400 block of W. Adams St. for an animal complaint.

Police responded to the 11600 block of St. Rt. 127 for ministerial alliance.

Officers responded to the 600 block of E. Memorial Sr. for a 911 hang-up call.

Police responded to the 48 3/4 mm of I-64 East for a report of a vehicle in the median. Police checked for injuries and waited on scene until the Illinois State Police arrived on scene.

August 28

Officers responded to St. Rt. 127 at Richview Rd. for a reckless driving complaint.

Police responded to S. Kaskaskia St. for a medical call.

Officers responded to the 100 block of N. Mill St. for an alarm.

Police responded to the East bound of f ramp of Interstate 64 for a one vehicle traffic crash. no injuries were reported. The driver involved was Isaiah Gary of O’Fallon who ran off the roadway hitting a road sign. A crash was completed on scene.
