Homecoming: “A Night At The Carnival”

Nashville Community High School will celebrate its homecoming Sept. 26- Oct. 1.

NCHS Student Council members have been busy from the beginning of school planning for this event. This year’s homecoming theme is “A Night at the Carnival.”

On Friday, September 30, 2016, students will be dismissed from school at 11:30 a.m., and the homecoming parade will take place through downtown Nashville at 1 p.m.

Local businesses and community members are encouraged to participate in the parade.  If you are interested, please contact Christina Robinson at NCHS by calling 327-8286 ext. 317 by Friday, Sept. 23.

Another highlight to the homecoming festivities is the football game– The NCHS Hornets will take on the Carterville Lions.

The Homecoming Queen will also be crowned Friday night during half-time.

A semi-formal homecoming dance is scheduled from 8:00-11:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1 at NCHS.
