We received over 5 inches of rain this past Thursday through Saturday morning. Before the rains came, several area farmers were already picking and shelling corn.

Sunday, September 18 Pastor Elmer Bowman will be leading worship at Zion.

This past Sunday, Brenda Crisp of Uni-Pres Kindercottage of East St Louis spoke on the ministry of Kindercottage which is one of Zion’s mission projects.

Also a 9/11 Remembrance was observed at Zion. Sunday marked the 15th anniversary of that horrific day in our country’s history.

Get well prayers for Sue Lehde who had back surgery this past Thursday.

Early this past Saturday morning, the Addieville Firemen did hose testing.

The Railroad Co gave us a new smooth railroad crossing on Center Street.
