Matthew Bergmann, 15, of Swansea, grandson of Darlene Bergmann of Nashville, received a special award from High School District 201 at the school board meeting on June 20. His name was added to a plaque honoring students for Outstanding Achievers at District 201 Belleville.
Matthew obtained the rank of Eagle Scout on September 24, 2015 and his Eagle Scout Court of Honor was held on October 11, 2015.
