OLPH Holy Name Society Makes Scholarship Donations To St. Ann School Students

Each year now for some time the Holy Name Society of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Posen has presented a check to St. Ann Catholic School for $2,000 towards the school’s overall operating costs.

As generous as this may seem the organization upped the ante this school year when they approached the principal, Mr. Pierre Antoine, and explored the possibility of assisting individual OLPH families who send their children to St. Ann Catholic School.

After some discussion the society decided to gift in scholarship form $500 for each student ($6,000 in total) from OLPH who attends St. Ann.

A check was presented to the school last week and parents and families were notified shortly thereafter.

It goes without saying that the unbelievable generosity shown by the Holy Name Society and OLPH is extremely appreciated. Mr. Antoine is hopeful other parish organizations may follow their lead.
