St. Ann/TSJ Baseball Wins Two Of Three

The St. Ann/TSJ Baseball team pushed their record to 9-3 winning two of three games this week as they faced off against Okawville, St. Libory, and St. Marks/Steeleville. St. Ann/TSJ bounced back from a loss against Okawville, to win two straight games over St. Libory and St. Marks/Steeelville.

St. Ann/TSJ fell behind in the first inning against Okawville, and could not come all the way back as they lost 4-1. After falling behind 2-0 in the first, St. Ann/TSJ would get their lone run of the game in the fourth inning. Okawville would extend their lead in the sixth and win the game 4-1. Curtis Bochantin had the lone RBI. Nick Miller, Kendall Vallett, and Tommy Herzog each added a hit in the loss. Brayden Bauza, Trent Harris, and Logan Eversgerd each reached base via the walk.

St. Ann/TSJ got back on the winning track with a dominant 12-2 win over St. Libory. St. Ann/TSJ got out to a 9-0 lead with four runs in the third and five in the fourth, and cruised from there. St. Libory got one run in the fifth and sixth inning, before St. Ann/TSJ put the game away with three runs in the sevent. Harris, Vallett, and Herzog each had three hits and three RBIs in the win for St. Ann/TSJ. Bauza had the lone other RBI in the win. Owen Dunn and Miller had the other hits for St. Ann/TSJ.

St. Ann/TSJ's last game of the week was a 9-0 win over St. Marks/Steeleville. St. Ann/TSJ got on the board in the first with a run, and two in the third, but didn't break the game open until the sixth inning when they scored six runs. Harris led the team with three hits and four RBIs in the win. Bauza also had multiple RBIs as he finished 2-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs. Luke Pedtke and Herzog had a RBI apiece in the win.
