Mr. Robin L. Bury of Nashville, departed this life at the Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 6:35 PM. He had attained the age of 57 years, 2 months and 8 days.
Mr. Bury was born on July 11, 1959, at Pinckneyville, the son of Michael and Orvella (Frieman) Bury.
Rob worked at Elks Lodge in Centralia, as a chef for many years. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Washington County Historical Society in Nashville. Rob enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals and He loved going antiquing and being with his pets.
Left to mourn his passing are his three children, Anthony Bury and wife, Tasha of Prosper, Texas, Kirstyn Sterns and husband, Edward of Nashville, and Tamara Easton of Monroe, La.; five siblings, Michael Bury of Collinsville, Annette Tylka and husband Albert of Glen Carbon, Charles Scott Huge of Collinsville, Les Huge and wife Cindy of O’Fallon, and Jeff Huge; six grandchildren, Skylar, Asheton and Scarlett Bury, Savannah and Ethan Stearns and Isabella Easton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per the wishes of Rob and his family, cremation will be performed and a memorial service was held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, on Thursday, September 22, 2016.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Washington County Partners for Pets or the Washington County Historical Society and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
