Nashville FFA Chapter Attends Greenhand Workshop

Members of the Nashville FFA Chapter attended the District V Greenhand Workshop held at Southern Illinois University Carbondale on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. The event was hosted by Collegiate FFA which is a student organization at SIU. Opening ceremonies were conducted by the Collegiate FFA Officers followed by FFA members enjoying an opening address given by the Collegiate FFA President. FFA members attending the Greenhand workshop were divided into groups to learn about team building skills and how they can become more involved in their chapters and communities. The evening concluded with closing ceremonies. FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premiere leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
