October 10

The Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to an one vehicle accident on State Route 160 west of Addieville. A motor-cycle driven by John R. Moose, 27, of Mascoutah, IL lost control of the motor-cycle, causing the motor-cycle to enter a ditch. Minor injuries were reported.

A Washington County Sheriff's Deputy took a burglary report from a residence in Hoyleton.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office took a report of criminal damage to property at the Richview Park.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office took a report of a suspicious vehicle on Lily Road.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office received a report of a suspicious person at a residence in Richview.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office conducted a Motorist Assist on Interstate 64 near U.S. Highway 51.

A Washington County Deputy gave Carl A Whicker, 60 of Simpson, IL a verbal warning for improper lighting/white light to the rear. The passenger Darlene F. Whicker, 58 of Simpson was arrested on a Saline County Warrant for Deceptive Practices (Fraud).

A Washington County Sheriff's Deputy responded to a report of unsafe firearms use in rural Nashville.

A Washington County Deputy assisted the Illinois State Police with a traffic crash on I-64 at the 45 mm.

October 7

Vincent P. Wojtowicz, 94 of DuBois, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Vincent was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested Jordan K. Womack, 23 of Venedy, IL for Driving While License Suspended and speeding.

A Washington County Deputy responded to a 1 vehicle traffic accident on Cattlepen Road at the intersection with White Church Road. Victor N. Bermudez, 31 of Belleville, IL. lost control, ran off the roadway and struck a tree. Also responding were Okawville Fire, Okawvile Police and Washington County Ambulance.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office reported an Abandoned Vehicle on St. Rt. 177 near Red Bud Rd.

A Washington County Sheriff's Deputy responded to a domestic disturbance in Addieville.

A Washington County Sheriff's Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on I64.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office received a report of animals near the roadway near Okawville.

A Washington County Sheriff's Deputy investigated a complaint of illegal dumping on Mockingbird Rd. near Lunte Creek Rd.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office arrest Patricia J. Bailey, 44, of Ashley, IL on Washington County Failure to Appear Warrant.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office returned a phone call to a resident in rural Nashville in regards to a civil matter.

October 4

Mark E. Sawyer, 21 of St. Louis, MO, was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff's Office for Driving while License Suspended, Expired Registration, and Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office investigated a car parked in the roadway in rural Lively Grove.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to rural Oakdale for a report of suspicious activity.

A Washington County Sheriff's Deputy responded to a report of reckless driving on St. Rt. 15 near the Washington/Jefferson County Line.

A Washington County Sheriff's Deputy investigated a report of a disabled vehicle blocking a lane of traffic on St Rt 15 at Reservoir Rd. The vehicle was temporally parked with warning lights on making a delivery and was moved within a few minutes.

A Washington County Sheriff's Deputy responded with Okawville Fire, Okawville Police, and Washington County Ambulance to a structure fire in rural Okawville.
