Brylee Jane Mangrum, precious little angel of Ali (Boczek) and Austin Mangrum passed away at 4:08 p.m., Saturday, October 8, 2016 in St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Brylee was born October 7, 2016 in St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come unto me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

Survivors include her parents, Austin Mangrum and Ali Boczek of West Frankfort; maternal grandparents, Dale and Sandy Boczek of DuBois; paternal grandparents, Lori Blake-Denison of West Frankfort and Donny and Jennifer Mangrum of Hurst, Dwayne Denison of Royalton; maternal great-grandmother, Gwen Reagan of Carlyle; paternal great-grandmother, Pat Perrine of Royalton; paternal great-grandparents, Robert and Vicky Blake of Benton and Nancy Mangrum of Benton; paternal great-great grandmother, Tresa Absher-Collins of Herrin; several aunts and uncles, Dalton Wright, Layce Boczek, Tosha Mangrum, Tiffany Mangrum Travis and Brittany Mangrum, Brittany Mangrum and Grant Boczek; several great aunts and great-uncles, Don Johnson, Alisa Samples, Beth Johnson, Sandy and Kevin Pennell, Cindy and Gene Clark, Rob and Robin Blake, Jim and Lisa Blodgett, Vicky Boczek, June Kell, Mike and Lisa Kell and Karen Boczek. She is also survived by several cousins.

Brylee is preceded in death by her paternal great-grandmother Phyllis Absher; paternal great-grandfather Don Mangrum; maternal great grandparents, Alfred and Joann Boczek, Ronald Reagan, Cecil Edward Kell; paternal great-great grandfather, Rev. Maurice Absher, paternal great-great grandmother, Ruth Blake Muench; paternal step great-great grandfather, Jerry Collins, uncles, Don Blake, Richard Blake, Earl Samples.

Services were at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 14, 2016 in Pyle Funeral home in Johnston City with Rev. Dan Smith officiating. Interment was next to her great-grandmother Phyllis in Spring Grove Cemetery near Crab Orchard.

Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City is entrusted with the arrangements.
