Mr. Orville A. Ziegler of Belleville, departed this life at his residence in Belleville on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 10:05 AM. He had attained the age of 91 years and 14 days.
Mr. Ziegler was born on October 1, 1925 at Washington County, the son of Louis and Louise (Holle) Ziegler. He was united in marriage to Anna Neabuhr on October 20, 1944 at Irvington, and she survives his passing.
Orville was a tool and die maker for Century Electric of St. Louis, Mo., for many years. He was a member of Signal Hill Lutheran Church in Belleville, and he loved traveling and watching sporting events.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife Anna Ziegler of Belleville; a son, Steven Ziegler and wife Andrea of Fairview Heights; a daughter, Lisa Ziegler of Belleville; a granddaughter, Maggie; two step grandchildren, Alex and Jason Stacey; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Elmer Ziegler and a sister, Valeria Rowekamp.
Funeral services were held at the Campagna Funeral Home of Ashley, on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 with Pastor Johnathan Hemmler officiating and with interment at the Fouts Cemetery in Irvington.
