From The Washington County Historical Society: Decorative Urns

Historical Society Urns Joann Snead BW.jpg

This week from the Washington County Historical Society is a pair of decorative urns which are set on either side of the mantle above the fireplace at the Historical Society Museum. The urns are a luminous rose pink with floral decorations. The urns were donated to the Historical Society courtesy of JoAnn Snead. Almost all of the items on display at the museum or at the L&N Depot have come to the Historical Society as donations.

To see this and many other items, from many other time periods, visit the Washington County Historical Society Museum, located at 326 S. Kaskaskia, and Nashville’s L&N Depot, located at 101 E. Railroad., open from 1 to 4 p.m. every Saturday.
