October 23

The Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to Irvington for a report of Theft.

Allen P. Stein, 49 of Nashville, was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff's Office for Driving Under the Influence, Improper Lane Usage, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Failure to Give Information after Striking Unattended Vehicle.

A Washington County Deputy responded to a traffic crash on County Highway 27. Dylan M, Niederbrach, 18 of Okawville swerved to miss a deer and drove off of the roadway causing the vehicle to overturn. No injuries were reported.

October 22

A Washington County Deputy completed a security check of a residence in Hoyleton

A Washington County Deputy responded to Poplar Rd for a report of a vehicle possibly poaching deer. No vehicle was located and no evidence of an illegally killed deer was located.

A Washington County Sheriff's Deputy checked on a disabled vehicle on US 51 near the Washington County and Marion County line.

Edwin H. Holtgrewe, 23 of Ashley, was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff's Office for Driving while License Suspended.

October 21

The Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to Irvington for a report of Suspicious Activity.

A Washington County Deputy arrested David N. Johnson, 44 of St Louis, MO on two outstanding Michigan Warrants for Failing to Register as a sex offender.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office assisted the Tilden Police Department in locating two suspects wanted for Burglary and Theft.

A Washington County Sheriff's Deputy responded to a report of suspicious activity in Addieville.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested Scott A. McCoy, 31 of Richview, IL for Driving Under the Influence, Improper Lane Usage, and Operating Uninsured Vehicle. When the vehicle he was driving struck a ditch on Greenup St. and Jefferson St. in Ashley, IL.

October 19

The Washington County Sheriff's Office received a report of Suspicious Activity near Richview, IL.

Washington County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Jason M. Bauer, 29 from DuBois for a Franklin County warrant.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office reported suspicious activity at the Ashley Grade School.

Jake P. Armer, 26, of Addieville, IL was arrested by the Washington County Sheriff's Office for domestic battery.

October 18

The Washington County Sheriff's Office assisted a motorist on State Route 177 near Hoyleton.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office responded to rural Okawville for a report of an abandoned vehicle.
