October 24

The Nashville Police Department responded to the 700 block of S. Grand Ave. for a combative subject.

Officers handled a two vehicle accident at the intersection of E. Gorman St. and S. Mill St. A vehicle driven by Kallee Remer, of Oakdale, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Tawny Kurtz, of Nashville.

Police responded to St. Rt. 127 just North of Holzhauers for an accident involving a deer. John Kohnen, of Aviston, hit a deer.

October 25

Officers responded to the 100 block of W. Lebanon St. for a 911 hang-up call.

Police responded to the 200 block of W. Chester St. for a city ordinance violation.

Officers responded to the 100 block of W. St. Louis St. to remove an unwanted subject.

Police responded to the 300 block of W. Belleville St. for a possible fire.

Officers handled a two vehicle accident in Nascote Industries parking lot, 18310 Enterprise Ave. A vehicle driven by Steven Cook, of DuQuoin, backed into a vehicle driven by Timothy McDaniel, of Oakdale. A report was taken on the accident.

Police arrested Robert Gill on a warrant out of Washington County.

October 26

Officers responded to the 400 block of W. Walnut St. for suspicious activity.

Police responded to the 300 block of W. St. Louis St. for a property exchange.

Officers responded to the 600 block of E. Elm St. for a domestic dispute.

Police responded to the area of Lebanon Rd in regards of a field fire. Police checked the area, and it was determined the call came from Lebanon Rd., but the scene of the fire was off St. Rt. 127. Police arrived at the fire scene, and discovered the fire was a controlled burn. Nashville fire was canceled, and police left the scene.

October 27

Officers responded to the 18500 block of St. Rt. 15 for a suspicious vehicle.

Police responded to the 100 block of W. St. Louis St. for threats.

Officers responded to Dairy Queen in regards to a two vehicle crash. No injuries were reported. Drivers involved were Thomas Sabo Jr. of Hoyleton, and Morgan Fox of Oakdale. Morgan was coming to a stop and Thomas was unable to stop before rear-ending Morgan’s vehicle. A crash report was completed on the incident.

October 28

Police responded to the 11700 block of St. Rt. 127 for ministerial alliance.

Officers responded to the 800 block of S. Heaman St. for identity theft.

Police responded to the 300 block of W. St. Louis St. for trespassing.

Officers responded to the 100 block of W. Lebanon St. for a suspicious noise.

Police responded to I-64 eastbound near mile marker 51 to assist a Sheriff’s Deputy with stopping a vehicle reported as a reckless driver/possible DUI. The driver was taken into custody for DUI by the Sheriff’s Deputy and police cleared from the scene.

Officers handled a three vehicle accident on N. Mill St., near E. First St. A vehicle driven by Angelyn Fernandez, of Nashville, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Christopher Bergmann, of Nashville, who was then pushed into the rear of a vehicle driven by Hunter Schultze, of Ashley. There were no injuries and a report was taken on the accident.

October 29

Police responded to the 900 block of N. Mill St. for an alarm.

Officers responded to N. Mill St. at E. Second St for a 911 hang-up call.

October 30

Police responded to the 300 block of W. Third St. for a 911 hang-up call.

Officers responded to the 300 block of W. Maple St. for a welfare check.

Police responded to the jail for a problem with an inmate.

Officers responded to the 200 block of E. Lebanon St. for a civil dispute.

Police responded to the jail for a problem with an inmate.

Officers responded to Circle K for a report of retail theft. Police arrested Samuel Sanders, 41 of Oregon, for retail theft, under $300, and he was transported to the Washington County Jail. Sanders took a bottle of Fireball Whiskey from the shelf and left the store without paying for it.
