The Nashville Middle School Jr. Hornets continued their strong start to the season as they won their fourth straight game in the Central City Shootout on November 5.
In the Central City Shootout, the Jr. Hornets easily handled Trinity Centralia, as they blew them out 46-14. The Jr. Hornets got off to a fast start in the first quarter, as they quickly jumped out to a six point lead by the end of the first stanza. Nashville kept the pressure on in the second, and held a 22-7 lead at the break. The second half was more of the same, as Nashville outscored Trinity Centralia 14-2 in the third, and 10-5 in the fourth to cruise to an easy win.
Gavin Baldwin led the way for Nashville with 12 points in the win. Baldwin was joined in double figures by Jaxon Goforth, who finished with 10 points. Preston Dagner and Camden Ritzel each had six points in the win, while Cole Malawy finished with four points. Will Barczewski, Ian Blazier, Michael Combs, and Kolten Gajewski each finished with two points.
The Jr. Hornets are 4-0 on the season.
