The National FFA Organization recently selected, from a pool of 660 candidates nationwide, the Nashville FFA Chapter as a two-star winner in the National FFA Chapter Award program.

Chapter members were invited to the 89th annual National FFA Convention and Expo, which they attended on October 18-20 in Indianapolis, Indiana where they were recognized for this honor.

The National FFA Chapter Award program recognizes FFA chapters for developing and conducting a detailed program of activities. Each activity provides opportunities for FFA members to excel in one of three areas – student, chapter, or community development.

Every year, FFA chapters are recognized as having earned a one, two, or three-star rating on their application.

The National FFA Organization provided leadership, personal growth and career success training through agricultural education to 629,367 student members in grades 7-12 who belong to one of the 7,757 chapters throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
