The Nashville American Legion held a dedication in memory of W.M. Roy Campbell and Roger E. Schmitt on Veteran’s Day. The Honor Guard joined Veterans from around Washington County at the dedication.

Meier’s Chevrolet in Nashville hosted a Veteran’s Day lunch in which veterans were treated to a free lunch.

Veterans gathered at Ashley Public Library on Veteran’s Day to trade old stories over coffee and donuts. The librarians filled the table with newspaper clippings from around Washington County.

Veterans in the Extended Care wing of Washington County Hospital were honored on Wednesday, November 9, with Phyllis Meier of the Nashville American Legion Auxiliary presenting a small bag of gifts to Warren Dueker, Art Campbell, Lillian Janssen, and Edward Boehning.
