On November 16, the Nashville FFA Chapter competed at the Section 21 Agronomy Career Development Event. The contest was hosted by the Kaskaskia College Agriculture department. In the Agronomy CDE, members tested their ability to identify common weeds, common seeds, and common insects, along with taking a written test on basic agronomy knowledge. The final component of the contest required members to judge four different grain and forage rings based on several quality factors. The team placed fourth at the competition, while Sarah Kozuszek was the ninth place individual.
